Kinfolk’s inaugural exhibition, KIN: A Festival of Memory and Imagination, transformed the WSA into a living archive—a constellation of portals into memory, imagination, and the stories that refuse to disappear.
From October to November 2025, Kinfolk staged their inaugural celebration, KIN: A Festival of Memory and Imagination, transforming the WSA into a living archive—a constellation of portals into memory, imagination, and the stories that refuse to disappear. This exhibition marks Kinfolk's attempt at a cultural counter-spell: a space to slow down, reconnect, and resist disappearance.
Immersive Installations and Experiences:
* Preservation Park
* The Futures We Tend
* Para Lélia
* For Those Who Come After
* There Goes Nikki
Pariah Interactive led the development of the interactive installation at Preservation Park, which showcased a selection of monuments created in collaboration with artists and institutions, including the Museum of Modern Art, the Music Center, the Tribeca Film Festival, and the André Cailloux Center. We updated the Kinfolk app with two new quests for users: to experience Preservation Park through the app and to locate AR monuments hidden throughout the entire exhibition.
